Sometimes you need to dress up in a button-down shirt or a fur stole, sometimes you just need to wear some of dad's undershirts and make funny faces.  Really, you never know until the mood hits.

My mom and I took the kids to the Diamondbacks Opening Day and for not ever having been to a ballgame, or even watched one on TV for that matter, I think they did pretty darn good! We brought our own snacks, but of course we had to get hot dogs! I think the kids were most excited about Baxter the Bobcat. He came to the section next to us and the kids were dumbfounded.  I must admit I'm a little dumbfounded as well as to why the mascot for the a team named after a snake is a bobcat.  Go figure.

When I Grow Up!

This is our latest dialogue with Dylan (at least once a day):

Dad - I like your beard and mustache.

Dylan - (angry) When I grow up!

Dad - What color will it be?

Dylan - Red.

Dad - What will people say to you?

Dylan - Hey Red!

Dylan hasn't been feeling up to his usual awesome dudeness the last couple days, so today he got to go downtown to work with mom. Apparantly eating lunch downstairs with the rest of the worker bees just wasn't that entertaining. He tried to look amused for awhile, but really he just wanted a nap. Sweet guy.

By the way, I really kind of like my new phone! The camera isn't too shabby and I can post stuff to this blog from it! Yay for cool phones!

Flagstaff Trip

Although this trip was a few weeks ago, I figured I should post some pictures before it was actually summer. The kids had a blast in the snow - this was Dylan's first time really playing in snow - and Grandma Carol helped them learn how to make snowmen and snow angels. Kaitlyn was feeling extra goofy and decided to bite the heads off all the little snowmen before we left. Kinda weird, but she had fun.
